2. Any Mozart Horn Concerti, 1st mvt., or solo of comparable difficulty, from the standard repertoire.
3. Two etudes in contrasting styles by Kopprasch, Mueller, or Kling.
4. All major scales.

Graduate

1. One complete solo work from the standard repertoire
2. Five orchestral excerpts from the standard repertoire, which must include the following:

• Tchaikovsky, Symphony No. 5, mvt. 2, horn 1
• Strauss, Till Eulenspiegel, opening calls, horn 1
• Shostakovich, Symphony No. 5, mvt. 1, low tutti passage
• Wagner, Siegfried's Rhine Journey, short call, horn 1
