This page is intended to help familiarize you with the Atkinson Recital Hall as well as the policies and procedures governing its use.
- Atkinson Recital Hall has a seating capacity of 504 on two levels.
- Accessible seating and elevators are available.
- No food or beverages are allowed in the hall.
- Parking is free and parking permits are not required for evening events.
- No smoking or vaping is allowed in the building or within 25 feet of the entrance.
Doors open for NMSU events 15 minutes before the scheduled performance. All seating for NMSU events is general admission. You do not need a reservation or ticket.
No photography or recording is permitted at NMSU Department of Music events unless approved in advance by NMSU administration.
Out of courtesy to the performers, our students and the audience, please do not enter or exit the hall or change your seat, except between pieces.
For events not presented by the NMSU Department of Music, tickets and reservations may be required. Please contact the presenting organization for any information or to purchase tickets. For a complete list of events, visit the calendar page on our website.
If you think you left an item in the hall, please call our office (575) 646-2421 from 9 am to 5 pm weekdays.
