Holly R. S. Dalager is adjunct Instructor of Oboe in the NMSU Department of Music. She holds both a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance and a Master of Music in Woodwinds from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She has been an active performer with many groups around the Twin Cities area, including the Children's Theater Company, Harmonia Mundi, St. Paul Civic Orchestra and more.
For the last 30 years, Ms. Dalager has played with the Austin (MN) Symphony Orchestra where she was oboe concerto soloist three times. She also taught piano and oboe lessons and performed extensively in the Southeast Minnesota area, including with the Rochester (MN) Symphony. Her handmade oboe reeds are used by many oboists.
