- All major scales - minimum 2 octaves, extended range preferred
- Chromatic Scale - 3 octaves
- Perform 2 contrasting etudes or solos. Prepared one lyrical and one technical excerpt, or performing contrasting sections of any work in the standard flute literature. Please contact the professor directly if you have questions regarding literature selection. No piano accompaniment is required or will be provided for the audition.
