

The Statesmen is the premiere men’s chorus at New Mexico State University. This is a non-auditioned ensemble representing students from all across the university. Statesmen’s repertoire covers everything from world music to renaissance to the popular hits from the 60s. In addition to the formal concert season they participate in performing at sporting events, recruitment tours, school clinics, retreats and more!

The Women’s Chorale is a well-established non-auditioned ensemble with a strong tradition in performing signature choral repertoire for women’s voices. Membership consists of students from all disciplines of the university. They perform a myriad of music from many languages, eras and genres. In addition to the formal concert season they participate in performing at sporting events, recruitment tours, school clinics, retreats and more!

The Masterworks Chorus is an auditioned choir that combines campus and community singers coming together to perform a larger choral repertoire consisting primarily of major choral works with and without orchestra. The choir’s repertoire has included works such as Haydn’s Creation, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms, Mozart’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Faure’s Requiem, Brahm’s Requiem, Bach’s Mass in B Minor, Verdi’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah and Rutter’s Magnificat. This choir is open to students and community membership.
