Dr. Jacob Dalager's holiday work "Fear Not" had its New Mexico premier recently in Las Cruces. The work was also performed at the International Women's Brass Conference Holiday Concert in Baltimore. MD

Dr. Jim Shearer’s (tuba) latest album, Cloud Bowling with Claude Bolling: Music for Tuba and Jazz Trio (Summit Records) received a rave review in ”The New York City Jazz Record.”  You can read that review here. Dr. Shearer is the NMSU Music Department Coordinator of Graduate Studies  and Music History.
