NMSU Faculty Brass Quintet Recital 

NMSU Faculty Brass Quintet Recital As a part of this year’s annual Research and Creativity Week (February 26 - March 1), the NMSU Music Department will host three free events at the Atkinson Recital Hall. Events scheduled for the week include performances by the NMSU Wind Symphony, the NMSU Faculty Brass Quintet, and the NMSU Faculty Woodwind Quintet.

The NMSU Brass Quintet will perform on Tuesday, Feb. 27th.  The ensemble will celebrate the University's and the region's Hispanic heritage by taking you on a musical tour of Latin America, performing music from Peru, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil. The program will display the quintet's artistry, technical mastery, and showmanship all while keeping you dancing in your seat. Joining the quintet for this special program is renowned drummer and recording artist Brian Wright. 

All events will be held in the Atkinson Recital Hall and are free and open to the public.
