NMSU Music Presents Faculty Woodwind Quintet
As a part of this year’s annual Research and Creativity Week (February 26-March 1), the NMSU Music Department will host three free events at the Atkinson Recital Hall. Events scheduled for the week include performances by the NMSU Wind Symphony, the NMSU Faculty Brass Quintet, and the NMSU Faculty Woodwind Quintet.
The NMSU Woodwind Ensemble will perform on Thursday, February 29th at 7:30 pm. The group is performing an exciting collection of music, which includes masterworks by Beethoven, Ibert, and Malcolm Arnold, as well as music by celebrated African-American composers William Grant Still and Valerie Coleman.
All events will be held in the Atkinson Recital Hall and are free and open to the public.
