A passionate chamber musician, Dr. Moore has given performances at conferences around the globe. In an effort to expand the repertoire for flute and clarinet alone, she co-founded the Violetta Duo. The Duo has commissioned and premiered several new works and has participated in national and international conferences. In the Spring of 2022, Dr. Moore received a Seed Funding Grant from NMSU which funded the “sky & earth, boundless” project – a series of works by living composers for flute and clarinet, inspired by the United States National Parks. Dr. Moore also performs with and commissions new works for Trio Enchantment with retired NMSU Professor of Horn, Ms. Nancy Joy, and cellist, Dr. Hyerim Mapp.

Prior to coming to NMSU, Dr. Moore held positions at Kilgore College in Kilgore, TX and at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, TX. She has also taught privately in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and the Chicago area and has given masterclasses and performances at universities across the United States and in China.

Dr. Moore has been published in The Clarinet journal and Carl Fischer Music currently publishes her editions of clarinet works by Heinrich Baermann. Her research on this 19th century virtuoso has been presented around the United States, Spain, Belgium and China. She is also the editor of The New Mexico Musician, the official publication of the New Mexico Music Educators Association.
