Advising

  1. Check the schedule of classes for your registration day.
  2. Set a time to meet with your advisor - in most cases your advisor is your applied teacher. Part time faculty and graduate teaching assistants are usually not advisors. If you are not sure who your advisor is then talk with Rena or Suzanne (Choral/Voice), Music Center room 101.
  3. After you have met with your advisor and you have decided on your course load, then have the advisor sign your applied music (green) card and your Advising/Registration Worksheet.
  4. Bring the signed applied music card and/or Advising/Registration Worksheet to Rena. All music majors have an advising hold on their registration, Rena will remove this hold when you show her the advisor's signature. Note: Suzanne will remove holds for Choral/Voice students.
