Congratulations to Mr. Daniel Holmes and Albuquerque High School Jazz Ensemble for being selected as the 2012 Honor Jazz Band to perform at New Mexico Music Educators Conference in Albuquerque.
The 2012 New Mexico Jazz Educators All State will be held on January 20-22nd at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. Clinicians for this year's All State are Steve Owen, Director of Jazz Studies, University of Oregon, Kenny Capshaw, Director of Bands, Coronado HS, El Paso, Texas and Kent Erickson, Hoover Middle School, Albuquerque. The All State audition material this year will be set #1 of the jazz etudes written by Glen Kostur.
