To everyone who came to or participated in Die Fledermaus, we offer our sincerest thanks. It was such a joy for us to perform and prepare, and we hope that you enjoyed it as well. 

Who We Are

The Doña Ana Lyric Opera is New Mexico State University's educational opera company. It seeks to provide NMSU students with the skills they need for success in the professional and educational music world. It also aims to enrich southern New Mexico with high quality productions that involve and entertain the community.

DALO's most recent productions include Die Fledermaus (2012), Le nozze di Figaro (2011) and L'Elisir d'amore (2010). The next production will be of opera scenes scheduled for mid-April. 

Past productions include Man of La Mancha, The Merry Widow, Hansel und Gretel,  andThe Little Sweep. In 2007 and 2008, DALO teamed up with local composers and talent to create two new musicals Extinction: A Love Story and We Are Enron.
