Congratulations! We weathered the storm and were fortunate to be able to listen to some extremely competitive auditions.
You have been selected to participate in this year’s event and we know you will have a rewarding musical experience at New Mexico State University. The two Honor Bands are going to be wonderful!
Please read the enclosed schedule and information document. Female students will be staying at the Comfort Suites at 2101 S. Triviz. Male students will be staying at the Sleep Inn, 2121 S. Triviz. Both hotels are near the I-25 and University interchange, just up the street (East) from the Music Building. See the information sheet for details. We will provide transportation to and from the music building for rehearsals for those who do not have transportation.
If you are unable to participate in the Honor Band February 10-12, please let us know so we may call an alternate for your position.
If you are an alternate, we will call as positions in the bands become available.
REMINDER: IF YOU ARE A SENIOR AND INTERESTED IN A SCHOLARSHIP AS A MUSIC MAJOR, CALL THE BAND OFFICE AT 575-646-2304 TO SET AN AUDITION TIME.
SPRING AUDITION DAY IS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20.
